I ordered this and got one which seemed faulty. My PC already had one WD 1TB SATA disk and I wanted to add one extra drive as my backup drive. The first drive that came was not working properly. I tried to troubleshoot and saw that many articles are suggesting to check the power and data cable. I knew that there is no issue with my motherboard as it is already detecting another SATA drive and all other SATA ports are enabled. So, I swapped the power and data cable without any success. I ordered a replacement, it was delivered to me on the next day; I connected to my PC with same cables and it started working like a magic. It gives you 1869 GB of effective storage, which I think is great in this price…

The drives are very low quality. I may be one of the many customers who is having the same issue as most of the customers have of this drive. The drive worked only for a few months then it started making a click sound and drive suddenly becomes unresponsive.
