As of January 12, AMD’s competitor for mid-to-high end gaming CPUs is AMD, a jarring reversal from a near 10-year reign from Intel. If you can get this one, it is the one to get for a lot of mid-tier gaming. The amount of cores make playing intense FPS games more manageable on your computer’s resources, but I really don’t play many games that either wouldn’t work on a tablet or came out after 2020. You just get to that point, I guess. Just good luck getting one. There’s always another processor, and stock will eventually catch up with demand. A great deal on tech requires more patience than the average person…
