Amazon classifies the 5-star rating as “I love it” and for me it is more of love at first sight as I have yet to put the product through its paces. However, from what I have seen of it so far, it certainly does what’s expected. It requires just a USB to Micro USB cable to operate which makes it a treat to use. It comes bundled with an useful bunch of software (Epson Scan, Scan to PDF, Document Capture Pro, and ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch Deluxe) which should come in handy when dealing with various types of documents. I have only used Epson Scan till date in auto mode with few analog photos from the 80s & some documents and the scan quality is simply awesome at 4800…

The Epson Perfection is a cool scanner in the given price range, it gives out crisp images on auto mode as well which I found to be pretty amazing but the user interface is boring…Canon is a sure shot winner over there…My exp is based on Mac ..so can’t say about…
