The scanner roller assembly has a design flaw, as you can see in the photo the rollers have worn down and this happened in the first 2 weeks or owning this scanner. Pieces of the roller kept coming off and jammed up the unit so now it does not grab the papers in the feeder. Other rollers in this unit which are not removable have also worn down. This is definitely a design flaw with this scanner. Other than the roller issues the scanning functions works great and it scans very fast and the software is very good. If it was not for the poor roller quality I would have rated this scanner much higher. Hopefully HP will be able to redesign the roller assembly with a better quality and longer lasting roller…
