the pencil might be a little bit on the costly side, but let me tell you this.. it is worth it… like the body is partly made of plastic and partly metal .. from the nib to the grip its metal… and the weight distribution is awesome like its heavier on the grip side, so it just glides smoothly because of its weight. it is comfortable to hold for longer…

I got this a few days ago and it almost instantly became my favorite mechanical pencil. I only have a few to compare it to (Staedtler 925-35, Pentel P205 Sharp, and Zebra M301), but I feel like for long writing sessions the GG500 blows all of them out of the water. As much as I love the Staedtler, it’s very heavy and can feel tiring after a while. But the GG500, with most of the weight near the tip, just feels like it’s effortlessly floating on the paper. I think the wider grip also contributes to how comfortable it is to write with. The lead indicator is also a nice touch, and is the main reason why I prefer this model over the PG525 since almost all of my pencils have different lead in…
