I have had Singer products for years as my mother did before me, so I was anxious to get this product. There is no manual and the one piece of paper guide was not very helpful. I had a terrible time getting this to work. The front loading bobbin was not a big problem as such, but that it constantly jams is. The machine is finicky, to say the least. I actually had to go to YouTube for information since the Singer site was not as helpful as I wanted it to be. I finally had to call the local Singer repair shop for help and they told me the side loading bobbin has some known issues. I am on the 5th bobbin which is finally working and the machine sews ok. But overall I am very disappointed with this purchase. The product was close to $200 and the minimum on repair is $100. Amazon only allows 30 days for a return. I wonder…
